Filippa K launched their new Soft Sport Collection and hit all the need of today’s amateur ballerinas
“Our plan is to design the entire collection sustainably through 2030”. It’s a wonderfully ambitious plan that Swedish company Filippa K has now committed itself to. The label has already been on my radar for a long time: it focuses on classics that can be found multiplying in my closet. Between a camel colored linen between-seasons coat, black slacks, and a few simple but wonderfully durable wool sweaters, my daily routine was actually covered.
But now the label is going further into other directions: yoga, travel, and training (or basically everything that happens in your free time) is now covered by the Soft Sport Collection. Leggings, soft bras, wrap tops – the campaign, which pictures the Royal Swedish Ballet during practice, evoked memories of my 12-year-long childhood “career” as a ballerina.

Organic cotton, cashmere, jersey, and modal make each individual piece so comfortable that you might even rather stay on the sofa than get moving to the nearest workout room. But what’s definite: these pieces look as unbelievably chic as they are unbelievably versatile (take a look at Veronika’s New York Shopping List).
Classic, simple, sustainable in approach and (therefore) made to carry you through season after season – it doesn’t get better than that. The Soft Collection SS17 is available now at Filippa K stores and online.
