Kristen Stewart, Caroline de Maigret and Pharrell Williams celebrated the new “Gabrielle Chanel” fragrance launch in Paris
Such a sensual delight! On Tuesday Chanel unveiled its new fragrance “Gabrielle Chanel” during a private reception at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. Guests were introduced to the world of the luminous and solar “Gabrielle Chanel” fragrance, created by Olivier Polge in collaboration with the Chanel Fragrance Creation through an enfolding experience, only a few hours after the Chanel Fall-Winter 2017/18 Haute Couture Collection show. The launch is the capstone of an exceptional year dedicated to the founder of the couture house, who, soon after the Gabrielle bag launch, is now being celebrated with the perfume.
Choose your destination, take your own path, become the person you want to be and stay true to yourself – all that reflects Gabrielle Chanel’s personality, which was ever-present during the launch event. Scented niches provided guests with the opportunity to smell the main ingredients of the the new Chanel fragrance: ylang-ylang, orange blossom, jasmine and Grasse tuberose. Walls lined with faceted movable mirrors reflected images that multiplied and disappeared as guests moved through the space, and thus served as the antechamber of a maze scattered with Gabrielle’s favorite quotes. The journey closed with the exclusive showing of the new advertising film for the “Gabrielle Chanel” fragrance, that will be released on September 1, 2017.
Kristen Stewart, the face of “Gabrielle Chanel”, along with Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, Cara Delevingne and Caroline de Maigret were, amongst so many more, guests of the “Gabrielle Chanel” fragrance launch. The launch party guests enjoyed a music performance by Pharrell Williams in the presence of Karl Lagerfeld and danced till dawn.
