Veronika travelled to some of the world’s greatest cities for the international Spring/Summer 2018 Fashion Weeks. We’ve compiled her best street style looks
The biannual international fashion weeks have long since given up their position of being solely responsible for the upcoming season’s trends. Especially in such fast-moving times when every fashion fad of decades past is reproduced, reinterpreted, and repeatedly re-sent down the catwalk, styling plays an important role. Because when you eventually bump into limits, or rather what’s been done before, virtually endless possibilities open up when it comes to combining items of clothing.
It’s not for nothing that fantastic street style photos land on the pages of fashion magazines – or on the mood boards of designers and trend researchers. Before the show, people known for their extraordinary looks and fashion sense make their way to the location through a sea of camera flashes. Hundreds of street style photos are taken at every show – including of Veronika. Here are the best from the four cities.

Sneakers with a dress – you could probably call this combination Veronika’s signature look. And she lived up to it in New York, wearing white high top sneakers with a checked dress or black sneakers with dark blue velvet pants. Also included on the program: velvet pants with a logo t-shirt and a striped sweater with a mini skirt.

London comes after New York on the fashion calendar, where Veronika attended shows including Christopher Kane, Burberry, and J.W. Anderson. If you’re already aware of the hashtag #pinkbyheilbrunner on her Instagram profile, then a look in our gallery certainly won’t surprise you.

Milan Fashion Week has been more and more feverishly awaited over the last seasons, if only due the endless hype surrounding Gucci. Veronika wore a real eye-catcher by the label – combined with the sneakers that she loves wearing most of all: Chucks.

Paris is the last and maybe most importation stop on the fashion week marathon – including shows by the likes of Chanel, Dior, Céline, and Balenciaga. Veronika wore a Nike shirt and checked pants, a tube skirt and turtleneck, and was out and about with Justin O’Shea in a floor-length dress. Our favorite look: a slip dress combined with a thick teddy bear jacket.
Sophia moved to Berlin in 2015 to study fashion journalism and media communication. She had worked previously as an editor and freelance journalist for newspapers and various magazines. Upon arriving in the capital, she wrote branded content texts for blogs and most recently articles for the style section of Der Tagesspiegel.
She inherited her interest in fashion – and also her favorite items of clothing – from her grandmother; her penchant for the North Sea and weekend excursions from her mother. And so no matter where she is, she’s always on the lookout for the most beautiful vintage pieces and the best banana bread in town.
