Victoria Beckham launches her second makeup collection for Estée Lauder after the huge success of her first cooperation
As Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham was part of the one of the world’s most famous girl groups. With her fashion label, today she belongs to the top league of designers and is a style icon herself. Is there anything the 43-year-old Brit can’t do? Apparently not. Last year she even added a makeup line for Estée Lauder to her list of achievements – and it was so successful that now they’re launching round two.
In fact, many products from the first makeup collection were sold out within days of the launch – so it only makes sense that the designer and the cosmetic brand would work together again. With around 28 products, the second collection is also twice as large as the first and a few of Victoria Beckham’s personal favorites are celebrating their comeback: The Morning Aura Illuminating Cream, for example, a moisturizer and primer in one that conjures up radiantly fresh skin. Or the nude Lip Pencil, without which the designer never leaves the house. The base for Beckham’s legendary smokey eye – the black, lightly shimmering eyeshadow Black Myrrh – is also back.
The designer created five makeup looks inspired by her favorites cities – Miami, London, New York, Los Angeles, and Paris – which also include some new additions. Three favorites: the matte bronzer, which is available for light skin tones for the first time; the Aura Gloss Honey lip balm, an all-rounder that also works perfectly as a highlighter on the cheek bones and the bridge of the nose; and the ultra-light, transparent Perfecting Powder, which provides a beautifully even complexion, even without foundation, photo filters, and the like.
The limited edition Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder collection is available in Germany from the 17th of October. Best mark the date in your calendar immediately – in bright red. The risk of this selling out fast is just as big as before.
