Chanel opens a new store in Munich and Veronika Heilbrunner shows you how to wear the newest summer collection

When my friend Hella Schneider from Vogue Online asked me if I was interested in exploring the new Chanel store, of course I immediately said YES. Most of all, because it also provided the opportunity to try on my favorite pieces from the current summer collection. I was particularly impressed by the VIP salon, on the second floor, which you can only reach by elevator. And now topping my personal wish list: one of the tweed chairs from the boutique’s chic fitting rooms.

With Velcro side closures, I pair the deep glimpses of the tweed mini-dress by Chanel with my cowboy pants by Wrangler. Of course with snakeskin-look boots by Acne Studios.

Nightgown or party dress – both are definitely possible with this fine lace dress by Chanel. I wore a long-sleeve underneath by L’art de L’automobile and brand new Nike Air Max. My black Gabrielle backpack by Chanel is the perfect complement to this pastel look.

…or with a high-buttoned silk shirt.

Just as high up on my shopping list is the tweed blazer by Chanel. It’s simply the perfect upgrade for my favorite look – vintage Levi’s and a t-shirt. And of course with Air Max again for a perfect bit of disruption.
