Which Swimsuit for which beach? The perfect outfit for each place chosen by Veronika Heilbrunner

This year, I celebrated Midsummer the Swedish way (so let’s call it Midsommar) for the very first time! How lovely it is to welcome summer by dancing all night long (and, of course, on the longest day of the year) wearing a white dress and a handmade flower crown! The solstice also means that summer has officially hit town and that the two sunniest months of the year are coming: July and August. These months represent three things for me: vacations, bikinis, and piscine de rosé (fr. transl: rosé with ice cubes)! If you’re lucky, it’s finally time to take a break and get away! However, every year the same question pops into my head: where to go to make the best of these vacation weeks, and where to get the prettiest tan ?

To celebrate the summer with you, we’ve picked out four destinations that never get old and Veronika, our favorite traveller, has selected the perfect outfits to match them all. Four towns, four different styles. From boho and colorful in Ibiza, to elegant and feminine in Portofino. I’m particulary obsessed with Norma Kamali’s bikini: the high-waisted bottom offers a very chic retro-style that creates a slimer silhouette. What more could you ask for? Another favorite is Lisa Marie Fernandez’s off-the-shoulder bikini, as effortless and cool as the woman who inspired its design: Leandra Medine, the blogger behind The Man Repeller. When it comes to accessories, bucket bags are always great and a timeless go-to for heading to the beach in style, but seriously, who hasn’t dreamed about a pink elephant bag? Personally, I did  and Loewe designed it!

Voilà ! Now you’re ready to go and shine !

Happy sunny Monday!
