Review: Aeyde Pop-up Store in London

Constantin Langholz-Baikousis, Celine Aagaard, Luisa Krogmann & Pippa Vosper

Aeyde popped up in London for five days and released a limited edition of their Liam ankle boot for the occasion

As the days turned grey, Dylan and Oscar the two models from the Riverside Capsule Collection from Berliner label Aeyde subtly reminded us that this winter we definitely need colorful (fake) reptile leather shoes. It starts with the campaign photos from Maja Wyh, which always look expertly unstyled anyway, and soon Dylan or Oscar wander onto your wish list. But now they both have some competition from Liam. For the first Aeyde pop-up store in London, customers got a fresh color in limited edition “crocodile” leather in Bordeaux red.

Aeyde has been on the British market for over a year, and London blogger Lucy Williams has been spotted in a pair of the labels ankle boots several times. But this five-day move to Britain was a first. From November 22 – 26, Aeyde introduced themselves to their British customers with their current Fall/Winter 2017 collection in the hyped Pippa Store by Pippa Vosper in Notting Hill.

Front and center: Liam. For the special edition titled London Edition, the label produced a small campaign and once again worked with a famous face, Norwegian blogger, entrepreneur, and journalist Celine Aagaard. Those that couldn’t make it to London last week can (still) find Liam exclusively on Aeydes website. However, there are only a total of 50 models in the Bordeaux red crocodile design.
