Cartier hosted the Panthère de Cartier Party in Los Angeles to launch its new Panthère watch
Facebook: Last week’s launch of the #Pantheredecartier watch felt more like a Cannes Film Festival party as Sienna Miller, Dakota Johnson, Lily Collins, Kirsten Dunst and many more joined Sofia Coppola and her co-hosts at the #Cartierparty at Milk Studios in Los Angeles. Last week Paris-based luxury brand Cartier celebrated the launch of the Panthère de Cartier watch, an evening hosted by Cyrille Vigneron, CEO of Cartier International, Mercedes Abramo, president and CEO of Cartier North America and director Sofia Coppola. Coppola was one of the main reasons Los Angeles was chosen as location to stage the launch party.

“Sofia Coppola is a friend of the house, and we had asked her to write and direct a short movie”, Vigneron said in an interview with the L.A. Times. The launched – or better relaunched – Panthère de Cartier watch is elegant, feminine and made-to-last. As to Verignon, the only alteration from the original version is a small change in the bracelet. Although the official launch will be June 1 – Coppola’s short film will premiere around the same time – the Panthère de Cartier collection is already available at the boutique in Beverly Hills and Berlin as well as online at Net-A-Porter.
