Scotch & Soda launches SS18 campaign From Amsterdam, from Everywhere
With From Amsterdam, from Everywhere, Scotch & Soda celebrate all the free thinkers around the world that want to develop something. “It’s a story of both world discovery and self- discovery – about how far you’d go and what risks you’d take to do things differently and choose your own way,” creative director Marlou van Engelen describes the campaign.

For the photo shoot, the team traveled with photographer Elisabeth Toll, who recently won the Photographer of the Year award from Swedish Elle – who, by the way, is now shooting for the brand for the second time – all the way to Jordan to photograph the collection before a breathtaking backdrop. The color card is actually inspired by the day’s changing light: the legendary red of the Wadi Rum desert, the ochre of the canyons polished by wind, and many jewel tones adorn the otherwise minimal contours. In the foreground there are strong prints that collide with woven brocades and sporty stripes in the women’s, collection. In the men’s, they come up in metallic palm leaves printed all over simple chinos, among other.
International models Damaris Goddrie and Wouter Peelen were in front of the camera, transformed into epic travelers by stylist Veronique Didry.
With their SS18 collection, the brand stays true to their own self-image as discoverers and collectors.
