The Mango Committed Collection is being launched for the second time and it’s available online and in stores now
Sustainability has been a topic in the fashion industry for about a decade, and even the high street brands understand their responsibility to orient themselves towards environmental protection and to shape the future more consciously.
This is the reason that Mango initiated its Take Action program in 2016, which aims to harmonize sustainable manufacturing processes with the prevailing consciousness. The Mango Committed Collection is also part of this initiative, which is now being launched for the second time worldwide and is made from materials like organic cotton, recycled wool, Modal, and Lyocell.
This environmentally friendly collection plays with contrasting masculine and feminine elements and is dominated by green, terracotta, navy, off-white, grey, and ochre hues. Key pieces include a corduroy suit, linen bomber jackets, and a thick puffy jacket for the winter
Photographer Josh Olins was responsible for visually implementing the campaign, which was shot against a breathtaking and untouched Icelandic backdrop with models Liya Kebede and Clement Chabernaud.
Mango celebrated the launch of the collection in its new, 1,700 square meter Hamburg megastore with a select number of industry guests who got to catch a glimpse of the products in the minimalistic store while being spoiled by catering by the local Mutterland deli.
