Opening Ceremony and Esprit launch their second collection for Spring/Summer 2017
Esprit and Opening Ceremony did it again! Just in time for the beginning of spring both brands are launching their remarkably fresh and modern second collection – strongly guided by Esprit’s designs of its golden age, that is the 80s and 90s: iconic logo-prints and stripes meet timeless silhouettes. Strong and expressive, but yet uncomplicated single pieces, that can be combined versatilely and individually, are central for the Esprit by Opening Ceremony Collection.
The final outcome is a collection full of positivity, authenticity and friendship. “Esprit and Opening Ceremony share a common attitude – from stylistic relation to different youth cultures worldwide, through to an insistent demand for maximum variety and variation in fashion”, commented Humberto Leon, founding member of Opening Ceremony. “With a further common collection we get to the heart of this esprit.”
As to women, the collection offers a range of skater-skirts, blouses, high-tailored shorts, and sky-blue sweatpants. This is where pastel-hued stripes and playful flower prints interact with simple styles. Everything goes! Men are free to delight in a collection that is great fun and covers all must-haves – from T-shirts and hoodies, to sweatpants, to accessories, such as sun hats and tote bags. Just tailor-made for the coming hot summer days and long summer nights.
Since April 27th the Esprit by Opening Ceremony Collection is available in the Opening Ceremony boutiques and in selected international stores – such as the Berlin KaDeWe, where also, parallel to the yesterday’s launch, took place the exclusive pre-shopping night to celebrate the new collection. #ESPRITXOC
