Edited the label launched its new Blade Runner Pre-Fall-Collection 2017 – when futurism meets athleisure
It’s time for a journey through time! Each season anew, Edited’s inhouse-brand Edited the label succeeds in sparking enthusiasm for its collections – there’s a different motto for each collection, every single one of them convinces time after time.
This fall Edited’s Blade Runner collection takes us along a journey through time and space. For its designs head designer Clarissa Labin and her design team draw inspiration from science fiction classics from the eighties – exciting and very wearable retro sport looks with futuristic elements are the outcome.
The intriguing Pre-Fall-Collection was shooted by Edited’s production team around fashion director Franziska Nellessen in New York – Model Hayett McCarthy was on camera for Blade Runner.
This is where casual athleisure and streetwear meets feminine lingerie and nonchalant chino pants, metallic leggings meets print shirts and slip dresses. With the help of lacings and utility style hoods, sporty jackets got their fashion update – likewise, thanks to asymmetrical straps or collars, the shirting trend was re-imagined, and from now on, sturdy materials will be combined with satin and sweat. Due to vibrant berry tones and purple, color highlights in metallic-silver and blue receive that certain something.
