Camper launched its second Camper Together collaboration with the American design duo Eckhaus Latta
Camper did it again! For the now second wave of the ongoing project Camper Together, footwear brand Camper teamed up with the American fashion label Eckhaus Latta, founded by Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta in 2011. In keeping with Camper’s long heritage of pushing the boundaries of design and redefining conventional footwear, the pair designed two unique options for women for Camper’s latest capsule collection.
As to the first option, there is a feminine slip-on sandal combining leather and ribbed knit, with a wedge outsole and an open toe. As regards the second option, the design duo opted for an interpretation of Camper’s icon “Pelotas”. With creating slipper style shoes that look like hospital clogs, they provoke a bold and ironical anti-fashion vibe. Including combinations of grey, mauve and dusty rose with flashes of yellow or monochrome red and black, the color options are greatly harmonious and vibrant. There’s no doubt that the two designs are overflowing with experience and creativity. Eckhaus Latta managed it to design innovative new products, while simultaneously keeping up Camper’s unquestionable identity.
Last week the capsule collection launched with an event at the newly opened CamperLab store in New York City with a special installation by Riley O’Neill. The collection is now available at CamperLabs in London and Paris, and selected Camper stores across the US and Europe.
We can also look forward to a limited edition lookbook shot by Rob Kulisek and styled by Avena Gallagher, also being published in May.
