Editor’s Pick: JW Anderson “Cylinder Heel Ballett Shoe”

Today’s editor’s pick is the JW Anderson Cylinder Heel Ballet Shoe, which is enjoying a growing popularity

Creative shapes, curved lines, surprising approaches to design: That’s what makes the JW Anderson label so popular and fresh.

Flashback: When the Northern Irish designer sent his eponymous label down the runway for London Fashion Week in 2008, it was the start of great things to come – contemporary British fashion changed under him and designers like Erdem and Simone Rocha.

What few people know: This debut was preceded by an accessories collection. No wonder that JW Anderson’s focus and passion is always on accessories and bags, shoes, and keyrings are an integral part of the repertoire. The Pierce Bag and the Logo Bag are already in every well-arranged concept store (and wardrobe), but the next hot contender from the world of Anderson is clear – the Cylinder Heel Ballet Shoe. This shoe and its extravagant heel is currently finding its way into the Hall of Fame. The style can be purchased in various leather and textile options, be it in muted colors, eclectic combinations, or my favorite version from the Resort 2018 collection: logo print in black. Nice, right?

If you want to learn more about the JW Anderson label, you can find more information on the website here or on Instagram (@jw_anderson).
