Woman We Love: Natasha Goldenberg

Natasha Goldenberg is a style icon, a creative director, and the mother of two little girls – a true superwoman. Veronika met her in Moscow

If you’ve never heard of this stunner, imagine someone wearing all the season’s hottest pieces, head-to-toe. Then imagine another person who looks like she doesn’t care what she’s wearing. Now, combine these two ideas in your head. Come on, give it a try. I know it sounds impossible, but now see for yourself – her name is Natasha Goldenberg.

Dress: Loewe

She’s been filling my mood boards and inspiration folders with her to-die-for looks for what feels like forever. She was also one of the first to make a baby bump look cool – and she dressed even more perfectly when heavily pregnant.

The first few times I bumped into her during fashion weeks, whether in showrooms or just out and about on the streets, I couldn’t believe my eyes: She is a living fairytale, shy like a deer but with a beautiful face flickering through perfectly undone hair and flowing layers of fashion-cravings surrounding her fragile frame.

She’s got a crazy schedule, like all of us, but I’ve never seen her looking stressed. Quite the contrary. She is always accompanied by her two über-cute daughters (let’s not even talk about her multitasking skills). Of course they are always dressed according to the scenery – and by accident, it would seem.

Apart from her vast experience as a buyer, Natasha has also held positions at magazines, as well as designing and consulting for brands. Since 2013 she has been the creative director of Moscow’s most prestigious department store, Tsum, where she curates a floor with her personal favorites, from Loewe to AtticoErdem, and Simone Rocha, and also Russian gems like Vika Gazinskaya, Natasha Zinko, and Walk of Shame.

When she invited me to a party to celebrate 10 years of Vika Gazinskaya, I didn’t think twice. I boarded a plane to experience my favorite fashion fairy’s surroundings (and also the first snow of the year).

This shoot took place in the home she shares with her family. If pictures or, I should say, Instagram Stories, could actually capture the real magic I felt when crawling through her two (!!!!) walk-in closets, I would still be there, and we’d be live.

Thank you so much for having us, Natasha – and for being beautiful, inside and out!
