The wedding season is on and full of anticipation, Julia Knolle has curated her outfit favorites for the dress code “Cosmic Disco”
When two long-term friends finally get married – and after an entire, really big circle of friends has been waiting feverishly for them to do it – the excitement grows by the day and the preparations are running at full speed from both sides. At the moment, of course, it’s more on our side and still unbalanced. The two protagonists, Anna and Charlie, picked a really special location and time of year – Positano, Italy at the beginning of August when the weather’s absolutely at its best – and wanted a very special dress code to correspond to the specialness of the event: Cosmic Disco.
It’s floor-length dresses for the ladies. Sounds like a good idea – I can already see everyone present in their bodycon sequin dresses dancing to luxurious Italo disco until the early morning hours with the sun rising on the beach.
That a choice of wardrobe that actually meets the “terms” of this dress code is a small challenge under the circumstances, that’s self-explanatory. Nevertheless, we’ve sought out a few possible options and added to the selection with a few “theme-independent” outfits that should be some help on the search for the perfect wedding guest dress.
