While Veronika is constantly posting Editor’s Picks and continuously finds joy in ideally colorful new pieces, my relation to shoes, bags and clothing predominantly defines itself by not knocking my socks off and come the rare event it does, the desired piece is long sold out.
Threads of me emailing with patient ladies of various customer services could soon fill a small book, and my hope that someone could possibly return the desired piece in my size will always die last.
These plain loafers by Lemaire are kicking off our small series “The Story of my Life”. Coming season they will be available for women only in grey and for men in sizes from 41 (US 8.5) up. Not without good reason this pair of shoes is described as “meditation on the evolution of normalcy, through a decidedly French lens” at the online store Lagarconne.com. No need to mention how perfect they would match my black skirts and jeans, am I right?
