For the Festival de Cannes Veronikas Shopping List is filled with High Class Labels like Giambattista Valli, Givenchy, Saint Laurent or Bottega Veneta
During the film festival in Cannes, you better be walking in the shade of the palm trees. It’s a golden rule, because the Croisette is one large limousine traffic jam. Espadrilles are perfectly suitable, especially the classic “all-in-black” version by Castaner. The shoes go with all of my looks from morning to evening! I ideally wear a nice Dolce&Gabanna bathing suit that can easily pass as a top with a vintage Levi’s jeans shorts and my Acne Studios pilot shape sunglasses. Because there is rather little time for sunbathing, I cross the street and walk right over to the hotel sun beds to have my breakfast at the beach. This might not seem very creative but it’s wonderful. I need a little tan for my sixties cocktail dress by Giambattista Valli in the color that stands for “Hollywood in South of France”: Chartreuse. Like this, I am prepared for everything from movie screenings (just checking: in air conditioned cinemas I’ll wear my favorite blazer by Saint Laurent on top) to then following dinners on chic yachts and midnight parties back at the beach. As accessories, I add the “Knot Clutch” by Bottega Veneta and rock crystal earrings by Givenchy.
