Veronikas latest shopping list is inspired by a lunch date at Le Grand Véfour during Haute Couture in Paris, including Acne Studios & Saint Laurent
Between us, my personal highlight during the couture shows in Paris is to have lunch. That is because while the Ready-to-wear this kind of luxury is timewise impossible. For five days, each at the beginning of July and the end of January my schedule is full of delicacies. History tells that Napoleon and Joséphine were just as addicted to the “Le Grand Véfour” at the beautiful Palais Royal as I am. Mere getting there is plain joy to me and my outfit needs to be planned. The bow tie shirt from Acne Studios is perfect because it’s bourgeois yet cool. The party is under the table with the asymmetrical skirt by J.W. Anderson and the boudoir slippers by Miu Miu. The checkered bag by Saint Laurent, a piece I’ll wear throughout all of Fall is finding its perfect premiere together with the more than cool “Spike” brooch (I’m wearing at pinned to the revers) from my supermodel friend Magdalena Frackowiak.
